One of the things I love the most about this time of year Germany are the amazing Christmas markets! Würzburg the city I live is known to have one of most atmospheric Christmas markets in Germany with around 140 beautifully decorated wooden booths selling Christmas goodies and delicious food. All of the booths are illuminated with the soft glow of Christmas lights which really come to life at night time. During December the whole city is filled with gorgeous Christmassy smells of cinnamon, sugary aniseed spices and hot mulled red wine.
Rob and I spent our Friday evening strolling around the Würzburg Christmas market in the icy cold sampling all the yummy food!

Wow, the pictures look amazing, I so wish I could go to a real German Christmas Market, IN Germany! I have been to many in England, and today I was actually at a joint Swiss/Austrian/German Christmas market here in Prishtina, but it is clearly not the same!!
